Hauk is Dale's new 4-ply worsted yarn in 100% pure, new wool. The yarn is Teflon treated making the garments water- and snow-repellent. Hauk has a gauge of 24 sts per 10 cm (4 inches) in needles US 3 or 4. Garments knitted in Hauk should be hand washed. Fabric softener is not recommended. One bag contains 20 balls of 50 grams each. Hauk can be used for patterns written for Heilo or Falk.
