Field of Flowers

A field of flowers is bordered by waves of old shale on this square shetland style lace shawl. The center square is worked back and forth in rows of garter lace. The border is picked up and knit in rounds, then bound off with a simple lace edging.

Size: after blocking the shawl measures approximately 47" square worked on size 5 needles or 57" square on size 6 needles.

The kit comes with the pattern and Zephyr wool/silk lace weight yarn. Available in the colors shown on the Zephyr page. Other lace weight yarns may be substituted.

Required needles (not included): Size 5 or 6 24" circular, a set of double pointed needles in size 5 or 6 double pointed needles, and a size F crochet hook.
